Reflux Valve- Single Door
(Non Return)
Single door non-return valve is a ‘non-slam’, silent reflux valve. Analysis of dynamic characteristics is carried out for suitable configuration of door, hinge pin, seat inclination and the concentration of weight on door. Inclination of seat and body area around the seat are so designed that the door’s minimum angle of opening gives an open area which is equivalent to the area of pipe.
An extra weight is integrally cast into the door below the center of gravity of the door. This provides the extra closing torque required in the hinge pin for quick and silent closure.
